Welcome to Board Vault. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Board Vault app and related services (the "Service") provided by Craig Rogers ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Board Vault is a household savings tracking and motivation app. It is a tool for tracking savings progress — it does not connect to your bank accounts, hold or move money, or function as a financial institution. All amounts you enter are records of money you've saved elsewhere (in your own bank account, savings account, or wherever you keep it). Board Vault does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Family members under 18 may participate in your household within the app, but their participation is managed entirely by you, the adult account holder.

The data you enter into Board Vault belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your savings goals, household information, or any other content you create. We process your data solely to operate the Service. For details on what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Policy.
We work to keep Board Vault running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service interruptions.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not provide financial advice, and any budgeting suggestions in the app are educational starting points, not professional financial guidance. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Craig Rogers and Board Vault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
We may add, remove, or modify features at any time. If we make significant changes that reduce existing functionality, we'll do our best to notify you in the app or by email.
You may stop using Board Vault and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive or illegal behavior. If we terminate your account, we'll let you know unless doing so would be unsafe or illegal.
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the Effective Date above and post the revised Terms at this URL. For significant changes, we'll notify users in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
