How does Board Vault work?

Board Vault is a tracking and motivation app for households who want to save money together. You set a goal (a vacation, a new home down payment, a fund for the kids), and the app turns your savings progress into a game board you and your family play together. The app does not connect to your bank account — you log savings yourself based on what you've actually set aside in your real accounts.

Does Board Vault see my bank account or move money?

No. Board Vault is tracking-only. We never connect to bank accounts, hold money, or move funds. The app is a way to make saving feel like progress — but the actual money lives wherever you keep it (your bank, savings account, or wherever).

Can my whole family use one account?

Yes. One adult creates the account, sets up the household, and adds family members. Everyone in the household sees the same goal and progress. You can have up to 4 members per household.

How do I add other family members?

From the Hamburger menu (top right) → Household → Share Invite. This gives them a code to join your household. They can install Board Vault, sign up, and enter the code to link to your shared goal.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, which hosts on Amazon Web Services in the US. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS. We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

From within the app: Hamburger menu → Account → Delete Account. You'll need to confirm twice (once with a yes/no dialog, once by typing "DELETE"). This permanently removes your account and all associated data. If you have trouble, email us and we'll handle it manually.

I'm having a bug or something isn't working right

Can I get a refund?

App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Will there be more themes and games?

Yes! Board Vault launched with the Cozy Forest theme and Ladder Quest game. Additional themes (Retro Arcade, Modern Dark, Classy Night) and games (Candy Path, Pet Ranch, Bumper Rally) are coming in upcoming updates. Free for everyone.
